Music Ministry

God is glorified and spirits are lifted by our music ministries at St. Timothy's. The Music Ministry at St. Timothy's is served by the St. Timothy's Chancel Choir, the Sounds of Joy Children's Choir, and various instrumental and vocal musicians who volunteer their time in service to St. Timothy's. New members are ALWAYS welcome! Come join us and make a joyful noise to the Lord!

St. Timothy's Chancel Choir
The St. Timothy's Chancel Choir provides liturgical and musical leadership throughout the year. From September through May, you will hear special music selections offered by the ensemble, under the musical direction of Tim McMillin and accompanied by Elayne Bice. In addition to Sunday morning musical offerings at the 10:15 AM service, the Chancel Choir celebrates with the congregation in the fall at the St. Timothy's Variety and Talent Show and contributes to the annual BIG EVENT in the spring of the year. The Chancel Choir rehearses on Thursday evenings from 7:00 - 8:30 PM and on Sunday mornings from 9:30 - 10:00 AM. The choir welcomes membership throughout the year from anyone interested in experiencing the joy of lifting a voice in song to praise and glorify the Lord.

Sounds of Joy Children's Choir
The Sounds of Joy Children's Choir rehearses on Sunday mornings at 9:15 AM in the church basement. Musical leadership for the Sounds of Joy Children's Choir is graciously volunteered by musical members of the congregation. The children sing at the 10:15 AM service at least once a month.
