Our Ministries
The meaning of the word liturgy is the work of the people. Read an overview of Liturgy and Music at St. Timothy's here.
Altar Flower Committee provides the altar arrangements for Sunday worship services, funeral and other special services, as well as luncheons throughout the year.
How can I help?
Liturgical Ministers assist with specific functions during worship. These ministries serve the three regular services each weekend, special services of the Church year like Christmas and Holy Week, and occasional services such as funerals and weddings.
How can I help?
The Acolyte Program provides an opportunity for the youth of our parish to take an active role in the worship life of St. Timothy's by assisting our clergy in liturgical services. Youth (grades 4-12) assist the clergy during worship services by lighting candles, carrying the Cross and torches and participating in the preparation of the Holy Eucharist.
How can I help?
Music Ministry is provided by the adult and children's choirs, ensembles and instrumental and vocal musicians who volunteer their time in service to St. Timothy's.
How can I help?
Liturgical Artists use their talents to create functional art used in worship. Some examples include our wooden pew torches, the green altar frontal, and the youth banner.
