Episcopal Youth Club (EYC) Students in grades 5 through 12 1st Sunday of the month, unless otherwise noted Lacey Howard, coordinator
An overview EYC, a.k.a. “youth group” is a chance for kids to meet with friends to learn about being a Christian while having fun, serving others, and usually enjoying great food! Groups will meet once a month from September through May.
Youth group activities include a variety of service projects, traditionally serving meals at the Eddie Davie Center, baking breakfast casseroles for the Salvation Army, and assembling Santa Sacks. Other opportunities for fun and fellowship include Diocesan events like the youth gathering at Convention, New Beginnings & Happening spiritual retreats, and the winter ski trip. (Please note: Participation in some Diocesan events is restricted by grade and/or age.) Sometimes we will meet as a large group and sometimes we’ll meet separately.
High School Facilitated by: Kay-Kay and Kevin Saunders
Junior High Facilitated by: Lacey Howard
5th & 6th Grade Facilitated by: parent teams
Please note: This group is new this year. Creating opportunities for service, spirituality and being social is vitally important to this age group. We have a great bunch of kids who are excited to get together once a month outside of class time. Parents are needed to plan and supervise activities for this group. We will need your help with the following months: September, October, November, February, March, April, and May.
