Something new this year! Children’s chapel will be offered throughout the school year as an option for families with children in grades K- 4.  Children will be dismissed from their Godly Play classrooms directly to the Children’s Chapel.  Children will rejoin their families prior to Communion.

Come and Worship follows the Revised Common Lectionary (what is used in our main worship services) but the readings have been re-written and in some cases replaced so they appeal to younger children.  Adult leaders guide the children through the lessons and then participate in an interactive homily. 

Music is an integral part of this worship experience.  We are very pleased to have Jade Fox, Children’s Music Director, joining our worship team. 

PLEASE NOTE…
Parents are needed each week to help with this ministry.  If your child is in grades K-4 you are asked to help lead Children’s Chapel.  Don’t panic! The curriculum follows the lectionary.  Children take an active part in reading the lessons and discussion points are provided.
